Start with something people can answer in one line: “What’s the most cooked meal you’ve made?” or “What tiny inconvenience deserves a dramatic movie trailer?” Specific beats “anyone awake?”

Try a harmless ranking: your most useful phone feature, the worst fictional superpower, or which household object would win a talent show. Keep the debate about ideas and objects.

For a collaborative bit, each person adds one sentence to an imaginary disaster. One friend misses the bus. The next makes the bus a boat. The third invents the destination. Stop before the joke becomes homework.

If you want a second opinion before sending your own joke, Rush has tiny apps to play with. Avoid uploading somebody else’s private messages.

Example: “Invent a superpower that’s only useful on a Tuesday.”
