# Sora is in Fortnite. Yes, with the Keyblade.

Kingdom Hearts landed in Fortnite on September 17 with Sora, Riku, Kairi and Roxas skins, a Keyblade mythic and a weekend Power Hour. A years-long fan request finally happened.

Fortnite’s v42.20 update on September 17 added four Kingdom Hearts outfits, each with its own Back Bling and Pickaxe, plus the Keyblade as a mythic weapon. Two bundles of two skins each cost 2,800 V-Bucks, roughly $25.

Why it’s everywhere: people have been asking for Sora in Fortnite for years, and Disney plus Square Enix plus Epic is a nostalgia stack for anyone who grew up on a PS2. On Saturday, September 19, Kingdom Hearts Power Hours gave every player the Kingdom Key and a Sea Salt Ice Cream at spawn, so your feed is full of Keyblade clips whether or not you bought anything.

The context if you’re lost: Kingdom Hearts is the Disney-meets-Final-Fantasy RPG series where a kid fights darkness with a giant key. The heart-shaped moon now hanging over the Fortnite island is a reference, not a bug.

**Okay but settle this:** 2,800 V-Bucks for Sora and a Keyblade you already own in spirit. Is that a purchase or a problem?
