# MrBeast’s “biggest video ever” was a whole village.

After a week of guessing, MrBeast’s roughly $10 million video dropped September 19: he built Abna Dakwa Village in Ghana to get children out of illegal cacao-farm labour. That’s why your feed went quiet and then very loud.

On September 18 MrBeast said his biggest upload yet was coming Saturday, with a budget he put at about $10 million and more than 1,000 hours of his own time, but no concept. The internet spent a day guessing. The answer, per Dexerto’s September 19 report, was a self-sustaining village built from an empty field.

The village includes a school for more than 300 students, a medical clinic, a marketplace, ten homes for teachers, solar power, water towers and fish farms. Partners include The Rockefeller Foundation, which is covering free daily school meals for five years. The stated goal is to take hundreds of children off illegal cacao-farm work.

The budget figure comes from MrBeast himself, not an audited number. Still, the reason it’s being sent around is simple: a week of “what is it” hype ending in a school is the rare reveal nobody was mad about.

**Okay but settle this:** MrBeast carried an entire village. Who is actually carrying your group chat right now?
