# 6-7 is still the most-searched slang of 2026.

A study of US Google searches from January to August 2026 puts 6-7 and chud at the top of the most-searched Gen Alpha slang. Rizz, no cap, bop, aura and crash out also made the top 10.

Euronews reported the list on September 28. It comes from the word-game site Unscramblerer, which looked at search data, not at what people actually say. So it measures confusion as much as popularity: these are the words people had to look up.

6-7 means basically nothing, and that is the point. It comes from Skrilla's Doot Doot (6 7) and is said with a weighing-hands gesture. Chud is an insult meaning loser. Aura, as in aura points, is at number eight, which is why your group chat is still keeping score.

**Okay but settle this:** Screenshot your own texts. Is your slang giving main-character aura, or is it just 6-7 on repeat?
