What does “aura” mean online?
Aura is internet slang for the confidence, charisma or cool presence someone seems to have. Aura points are an imaginary way to score it.
Aura is a playful way to describe someone’s presence or confidence. Online, people pretend you can gain or lose “aura points” when something looks especially smooth or painfully awkward. There is no official scale.
An effortless catch might get imaginary points. Waving at someone who was waving at the person behind you might lose them. The exaggeration is the whole bit.
Keep the scoreboard fictional. Confidence and worth aren’t numbers, and the funniest version is usually telling on yourself.
